Summer Day Camp

Voice of Hope’s Summer Day Camp provides full‑day programming that keeps children engaged in learning, creativity, and spiritual growth throughout the summer. Campers experience a safe, structured environment where they continue building academically and spiritually while school is out.

Each summer centers around a unique theme that guides lessons, activities, and character development throughout the eight‑week program. The summer concludes with a presentation where students demonstrate what they have learned through projects and real‑world applications.

The 2026 Theme:
Constructing Christian Communities

This summer, students will become more than campers — they will become builders.

Voice of Hope’s Summer Day Camp is designed to move students beyond an individual understanding of faith and toward a shared, community-centered faith identity.

Using the acronym CHRISTIAN, students will explore the Biblical identities that shape who we are in Christ. Each letter represents a building block that helps form a healthy, God-honoring community.

During the final week of camp, the campus will transform into a “Living Construction Site.” Through interactive skits set in familiar environments—such as a store, a sports game, school, or home—students will demonstrate how Biblical character shapes everyday life.

Through these experiences, students learn how to build communities that are:

Our goal is not simply to prepare students to navigate the world, but to equip them to build a better one through Christ.

A Structured Summer Experience

Summer Day Camp is designed to provide consistency and growth during the summer break. Each day blends Biblical instruction, academic reinforcement, and hands‑on activities that foster curiosity, discipline, and community.

Camp runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM, from June 8 through July 31, 2026, providing a full‑day program for students and working families.

Students also participate in three field trips each week, along with enrichment experiences supported by community partners and volunteers such as Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) and others.

Learning Through Experience

Students participate in hands‑on learning experiences that allow them to apply what they learn in creative and engaging ways while developing confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Each year’s camp theme connects Biblical principles to real‑world community and character development. The 2026 theme, Constructing Christian Communities, will guide students as they explore teamwork, service, and character in different community settings.

The summer concludes with a final presentation where students showcase what they have learned.

For example, during a previous theme focused on the Tabernacle, campers constructed a life‑size model and led guided tours explaining its Biblical meaning and significance.

Faith at the Center

Spiritual formation remains central to the Summer Day Camp experience. Biblical principles guide daily instruction, helping students grow in character, responsibility, and faith while strengthening their understanding of Scripture.
